Web Sites for Writers

Most writers need a professional web site design that they can update themselves. Heather has had the opportunity to design the following sites for writers. Most of these sites are designed with an easy content management interface so that the writers can add as much writing to the site as they wish, and make as many edits as they like, on their own time.

sixburnersue.com Writer and Chef Susie Middleton needed a site to promote her new book and to post recipes to. House On The Vineyard, LLC House On The Vineyard, LLC, is a media production company and ministry located on Martha�s Vineyard, MA and New York, NY, USA. Justen and the other staff can add pages and content on the fly. The site is laid out more like a website than a blog. The Mud of the Place TheMudofthePlace.com is a sister site to SusannaJSturgis.com, put together for the launch of Martha's Vineyard writer, Susanna J Sturgis's new book "The Mud of the Place". It has a content management system so that Susanna can update the content and news about the book through her browser. A. Leslie needed a website that would sell her products and promote her writing and workshops. Heather designed the site based on the illustrations for Rosanne's book and cards. The site has a custom content management system so that Rosanne can add new content and update existing content. Tending Joy - Ingrid Goff Maidoff This site is made with my intuitive website ready for success kit. Ingrid can add products and pages and pages and pages of text on the fly, she can completely manage her home page and navigational elements as well as create access levels (wholesale clients, for example) and have them view different shopping cart options. She can also control the graphic design of her site and change the colors, banners, font sizes and font, background image etc.. on the fly. Susanna J. Sturgis Susanna needed a site to represent her editing services and to promote her writing. The site is set up so that she can update all of the information herself. Susan Wilson Susan is a successful author with five delightful books published and another one on the way. She wanted a site that would allow her contact with her readers, and also that she could update herself. With this site, her readers can read excerpts from her books and reviews, can read about what she is working on now, can sign her guest book and also view a photo album. Susan can answer frequently asked questions and keep the site fresh and current from her home.
